Emotional Pain Mapping: How Life Experiences Shape the Body

This course is a 3-hour CEU course that introduces a new way of understanding pain.

Developed by Dr. Gina Calderone, this course explores how stress, emotional patterns, and life experiences are reflected in the body through the nervous system, breath, posture, and movement.

Participants will learn to recognize patterns in pain by observing timing, location, and repetition, using tools such as the Emotional Pain Chart and BodyLife Timeline™. The course also integrates current pain science, including the role of the brain and autonomic nervous system in shaping physical symptoms.

This course is designed for clinicians and individuals seeking a deeper understanding of chronic pain beyond traditional structural models, offering a practical and grounded framework for connecting the body to lived experience.
